I'm discovering how difficult song writing can be... especially for musicals.  I've been working on the screenplay for my Cupid and Psyche movie and during my limited free time during the last couple of weeks have been working on figuring out the first song.  I get about halfway and realize something isn't working and I haven't even figured out the music of it yet!  But I'm still gonna keep going even if it takes me the next three years just in preproduction!

I am tired...This semester I have two intense drawing courses: Figure drawing and Intro to Anatomy.  Which basically are covering the same thing, except that into to anatomy is more intense.  Then I have perspective for animation and English 1.   Right now I should be working on my skeleton drawing for anatomy, but the ribcage is being mean so I'm taking a break from it.

V-day was pretty boring.  I stayed up till 4 the night before and had to get up at 7 for class so I was drawing nude people on 3 hours of sleep and we were doing long poses.  I almost fell asleep drawing and then while standing around.  That was for 6 1/2 hours.  Then I had to go to perspective for another 3 hours.  Then I came home ate and went to sleep!

It feels like finals are taking up all of my time and creativity!  At least there is only 2 weeks left until I'm home...but that also means that I have to start packing up all of my crud laying around my dorm room.

So... Things that need to be done:

1. finish animation final - so am at about halfway there. Finish it on Tuesday or else!
2. Buy bags or boxes- next Friday at the latest.
3.  Box up electronics and get rid of trash.
4.  Wash sheets and anything else that I'm leaving up here.
5. Sort through what is coming home and what is staying in SF.
6. Pack up my stuff.

Any free time I have has been devoted to making my friends' Christmas gifts... scarves.  And now that I've mastered that skill I'm trying to make a hat, which it turns out is faster than making a scarf.  I'm also writing a fantasy-esque story somewhat based on some of my earlier stories.  It looks as if it will be fun.

I'm starting to feel the pressure from the stress of finals. I still have a long way to go in my experimental animation project even though its the one I'm furthest along on. I'm also doing a portrait of Matthew Macfadyen for my drawing class and he's being a little bit difficult. So far the class that I'm least worried about is photostoryboard, which is the one that has been the most trouble this semester! I'm just ready for it to be over.

I just found my old animation up on Youtube.  I did Otis Summer of art 2 summers ago, doing animation and figure drawing.  Our animation final was a 15 second at least story.  Mine was called The Snowball Assault.

Well I decided to get a LiveJournal, cause I need somewhere else to write about my life...right.  Well anyways we'll see if I really use this, or if it'll be something else used for procrastination or boredom.
